ASSISTANT COACHES' PAGE
Week 4

Once again this football season, pngfootball.com will interview an assistant coach off the PN-G staff. The assistant coach works very hard week in and week out to prepare the Indians to play on Friday nights. Their hard work and intense preparation are important to PN-G's success. Many times they are the ones who develop close relationships with their football pupils, and their coaching duties put them on the front lines in game preparation. Many times the assistant coach goes unrecognized in his contribution to Indian football. At pngfootball.com, we appreciate and recognize the work done by the assistant coaches. This is their page. |

| On the Kingwood Game We can't turn the ball over that many times. We moved the ball well. Our kids played hard. Our defense played a great game. We turned it over too many times down deep. We're still a good football team. On Kelly They haven't won yet but they've played some good people. We want to improve every week and eliminate the turnovers. We'll be all right. On the Receiving Corps We've got a returning starter at flanker, Joey Price. He's having an exceptional year. Jonathan Lumbley is at the split end position. He's got some receptions this year too. We have several receivers from last year's JV. Kirk Hallmark played some split end as a sophomore. Now he's playing quarterback. We're learning and getting experience. Price has excellent quickness and excellent hands. If the ball's anywhere around him he's going to catch it. He understands coverages and where holes are and how to get open. Lumbley's got excellent quickness. He's returning from last year and understands our offense. Hallmark is a big strong guy. We've moved him to quarterback because he's such a good athlete. He has good size and excellent hands and is very strong. He played some receiver for us vs. Kingwood. Also playing at split end are Michael Defee, Troy Cooley, and Brian Poulter. All are doing an excellent job blocking and taking care of their role on the team. At flanker we also have playing Adam Guillory as well as Adam LeDoux. |
