Jacksonville was one of those games where we just couldn't get things going our direction. We fumbled the first play, and they were able to get a field goal. We go down, throw a pass in the end zone, they intercept and go back the other way. It could have been a situation where we were up 7-3, but it went the other way. Seems like everytime we'd get something going, something would happen. You've got to give Jacksonville a lot of credit for playing a really good game. The most important thing is we've got to learn something from it. We still have three non-district opponents coming up. We expect our players to keep their heads up, and as long as they keep their heads up, something good will happen. We're a real proud group of guys, and history has shown that we rally from times like these. We'll stay together and get better. The Humble Kingood Game Kingwood is a very physical football team. They're one of the largest 5A schools in Houston (3,850 students, PN-G 1,540 students). They're a big, physical 5A ballclub. They're well-coached. It's going to be a real physical contest for us. Each game for us is to keep things in perspective, that we're learning and getting experience. We're playing at home. A lot of our players haven't played a varsity home game at the Reservation. There's no way to sugar-coat it. Humble Kingwood is the real deal. They're a good football team. Defensive Leaders Defensive leaders against Jacksonville were:
